Mrs. Zelda Fuller Lindsey was born June 2, 1929 in Maury County, TN, the daughter of the late Harvey and Virginia Cothran Fuller. She was a longtime resident of Hay Long Avenue in Mt. Pleasant. She was married to Leroy "Doc" Lindsey who preceded her in death on February 25, 1992.
Zelda was a great house wife, great mother, grandmother and loved shopping. She was a longtime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include one daughter and one son: Linda Kay Lindsey of Nashville, TN and Danny Linda Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Virginia Bourk of CA; brother-in-law: David Betty Lindsey of Summertown. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Lindsey, three brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Lindsey passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011, at Life Care Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lindsey will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Bob Mullinex officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
Mrs. Lindsey's family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Mikel Brown, Dylan Osborne, Jimmy Curry, Odell Haywood and Russell Cothran.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant.
