Xavier Benard Mcgrone

June 8, 1949 — June 20, 2003

Mr. Xavier Benard McGrone, 54, retired construction worker and son of Ernestine Cannon McGrone and the late George Robert McGrone, died Friday, June 20, 2003 at his residence on Hatcher Lane in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. McGrone will be conducted Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Roderic Bryson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 until service time at the funeral home.
The Chicago, Illinois native received his religious training in the Jehovah's Witness Faith from his mother.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memory, one son Crandell McGrone of Long Beach, California; two brothers, George Debra McGrone Jr. of Pulaski, TN and Ricardo Shelia McGrone of Nashville, TN; four sisters, Audry Khan and Rene McGrone, both of Chicago, Illinois, Lexine John Davis of Columbia, TN. and Vanessa Davis of Spring Hill, TN; two aunts, Maggie Norris Williams of Chicago, Illinois and Emma Love of Evanston, Illinois; two uncles Frank Sylvia McGrone and Elmer Valve McGrone all of Indianapolis, Indiana; devoted friends, William Owens, Dorothy Peete and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fields and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father Xavier is preceded in death by one brother, Lavern McGrone.
