Mr. Wilson Boyd Stinson, age 76, resident of Gardendale Drive in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services for Mr. Stinson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Polk Memorial Gardens with Gregg Gwin officiating.

The Stinson family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday at Williams Funeral Home of Columbia.

Born April 11, 1934 in Williamson County, he was the son of the late Grover and Elizabeth Hughes Stinson. He was the husband of Willa Dean Ray Stinson of Columbia. They were married for 55 years. Wilson was retired from Pepsi Cola as a route salesman. After his retirement he worked for Excaliber Funding. Wilson loved tinkering with things around the house. He was a member of the Collegeview Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sherry Barry Davidson of Murfreesboro; son, Daniel Yvette Stinson of Franklin; grandchildren, Jay Allison Davidson of Murfreesboro, Milissia Davidson of Nashville, Andrew Angela Davidson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Mary Davidson of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Emily Pena` of Colorado Springs, Jayden Davidson of Colorado Springs, Michal Davidson of Murfreesboro and Aaron Davidson of Murfreesboro; and a sister, Lucille Eatherley of Franklin.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Active pallbearers will be Yancy Smith, Mike Holt, Jimmy Callahan, Ricky Harris, Joel Gwinn and Jacob Gwinn. Honorary pallbearers will be all the members of the Collegeview Church of Christ, and special friends Randy Miller and Penny Stivers.
