Mrs. Wilma J. May Johnston, age 53, a resident of Edenburg Drive in Columbia, passed away Saturday, March 10th, 2007 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnston will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14th at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
Born in Lawrenceburg, TN, Mrs. Johnston was the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Leighton May of Lawrenceburg and the late C.F. May. She was the wife of William E. ?Bill? Johnston of Columbia. She was a CPA working as an auditor for the State of Tennessee Division of County Audit and a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. She was a member of the Certified Fraud Examiners and Association of Governmental Accountants.
In addition to her husband and mother, She is also survived by two sons, Jeff Jessica Johnston of Knoxville, TN, and Brad Catherine Johnston of Mosier, OR; a sister, Cheryl Jim Shelton of Rogersville, AL.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Johnson, Joe Roberson, Mike Carita, John Price, Carl May, and James Leighton. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the State of Tennessee Division of County Audit and the members of Lonnie Roberts? Sunday school class at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.
