Wilma Behel

Ms. Wilma Grimes "Granny" Behel, age 79, a resident of Ella West Circle in Lynnville, TN, passed away on Monday, December 21, at her residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 23, at 2 P.M. at the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dwight Liles officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, December 22, from 2 P.M. - 8 P.M. at her residence, 157 Ella West Circle, Lynnville, TN.

Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.

Born November 19, 1930, in Maury County, Ms. Behel was the daughter of the late Clarence Gracy and Ida Rosa Vandergriff Grimes and the wife of the late Robert William Behel. She was a retired beautician and the owner and operator of the Lynnville Restaurant. Wilma collected dolls, crystals, ceramics and was a member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a special companion: James Oscar Walker of Lynnville; her children: Tommy Howell Marlin, Kenneth Ray Bonnie Marlin and Janet Luna, of Lynnville;
grandchildren: Canadian Star Holt of Pulaski, Amanda Ray Washburn of Ardmore, AL, April Rose Dickey of Campbellsville, Jennifer Herndon of Cornersville, Ruby Jade Shrader of Campbellsville, Jessie Marie Luna of Lynnville, Cody Behel of Pulaski, Beth Marie Wiser of Lewisburg, Angela Renee Luna of Lewisburg, Crystal Lynn Lambert of Pulaski and Robert Lambert of Lynnville; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother: Willard Kathryn Grimes of Mt. Pleasant; one sister: Dora Jean McCandless of Mt. Pleasant; one brother-in-law Phillip Behel of Lynnville. She was preceded in death by a son: Steven Behel and a grandson: Christopher Behel.

Pallbearers will be Brent Shrader, Barry Wiser, David Dickey, William Gniposky, Billy Grimes and Mark Chandler. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Randy Thurman, Robert Lambert and Nic Howard.
