Willoray Stanford Nance

Mrs. Willoray Stanford Nance, 60, a resident of Walnut Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, August 15, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Graveside services for Mrs. Nance will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with David Kersey officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association Middle Tennessee Region 209 23rd Avenue, North Nashville, Tennessee 37203.

The Giles County native was daughter of the late Wilburn and Mae Hunter Peden Stanford. She was the widow of James Marvin Nance who died in 1997. She was associated with Independent Opportunities in Columbia, assisting mentally challenged adults in their every day activities. She attended the Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa John Davidson of Hohenwald and Laurie Randall Pruitt of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Gale Gerald Barr of Cummins, GA and Delilah Jeff Smith of Madison, TN; three grandchildren, Blake Davidson and Brandon Davidson of Hohenwald, and Drew Nance of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by a son, James Gregory Nance.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Nance, Mike Nance, Mike Mills, John Davidson, Gerald Barr, and Jeff Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Independent Opportunities.
