Mr. Willis Oscar Bryant, age 87, a resident of Gayla Drive in Pulaski, passed away on Sunday, July 1 at his home.

A memorial service for Mr. Bryant will be conducted 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 3 at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Pulaski with Rev. Joel Hassell officiating.

Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Tracy City, TN, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mamie Ponder Bryant and husband of Joann Redding Bryant. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL., a former Agriculture teacher, a member of the Giles County Election Commission, Giles County Help Center Board, Exchange Club, American Legion, VFW, a Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the Church of the Messiah Episcopal Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Jerry Joyce Bryant and Robert Patricia Bryant, both of Pulaski; a sister: Evelyn Warren of Columbia; 4 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Messiah Memorial Garden Fund or the Giles County Help Center.
