William T. Johns

Mr. William T. ?Bill? Johns, 75 , a resident of Naydonlin Drive in Columbia, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral service for Mr. Johns will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend W.D. Thomason officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Tennessee National Guard. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
The Giles County native was the son of late Robert Mitchell and Geneva Thurman Johns and husband of Wilma Lawhorn Johns. Mr. Johns was a retired security guard with Mid State Security, a long time mechanic for Web Eskew and attended West End Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Donna Rick Rickman of Thompson Station, TN, Pam Steadman and Debbie McNabb, both of Columbia; a son, Mitchell Judy Johns of Columbia; a brother, Joe Johns of Columbia; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Luke McCoy, Randy Fitzgerald, Jason Bayne, Wendall Holder, Nathan Johns, Billy Johns, Aaron Johns, Ronnie Johns and Larry Johns.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the West End Baptist Church
