William L. "Billy" Mash, Jr.

Mr. William L. "Billy" Mash, Jr., age 77, a resident of Roy Thompson Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, September 21, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Billy will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy Kersey and Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Maury Co., native was born February 1, 1932, the son of the late William L. Mash, Sr., and Nanny Mai Pogue Mash. He was the husband of Betty D. Kelley Mash of Mt. Pleasant, whom he married on June 19, 1954. Billy was a self-employed farmer and a member of the Locust Street Church of Christ.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: Dena Randy Russell of Cookeville, William David Mash and Carl Daniel Mash, both of Mt. Pleasant; one sister: Frances Tindell of Lewisburg.
Pallbearers will be Pat Hickman, George Roger Gilliam, Odell Haywood, Frank Jones, Randy Sprouse, Tommy Tindell, Charles Crotzer, Ronnie Kelley and Mike Pullen.
