Mr. William ?Bill? ?Rooster? Ernest Hamilton, age 50, a resident of Adams Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Hamilton will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Hal Brown and Webb Williams officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Selmer, Tennessee native was the son of Jacqueline Travis Hamilton of Selmer, Tennessee and the late James Willard Hamilton and the husband of Barbara Brumbelow Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was a tow motor operator at Penski and was presently attending school at Hohenwald Tech. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann John Hughes of Columbia and Kelly Lynne Hamilton of Mt. Pleasant, TN; three brothers, Judge Jim T. Patty Hamilton of Columbia, Tom Neal Beth Hamilton of Selmer, TN and Mike ?Hammer? Willard Maggie Hamilton of Mt. Pleasant; father and mother in-law, Troy Gene and Pat Brumbelow of Pocahontas, TN.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wolford, John Hughes, John Hamilton, Jim Travis Hamilton, Vance Hamilton and Barton Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randal Gene Brumbelow, Robert Brumbelow, Alan Hughes, Jack Tolley and Stewart Emery.
