Mr. William M. ?Bill? Holt, 74, long time resident of West 10th Street, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, at Columbia Care and Rehab Center.
A Celebration of Life services for Mr. Holt will be conducted Saturday at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating..
The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until time to the service at the funeral home.
The Williamson Co. native was the son of the late Madison Dill Holt and Mamie Pearl Beasley Holt. He was a graduate of Trinity School in Franklin and retired as a cattle and tobacco farmer.
Survivors include one brother: Walter Gladys Holt, Sr., of Columbia; five nieces: Deborah Smotherman of Spring Hill, Arleen Moore of Columbia, Linda Thompson of Pulaski, Betty Savage of Columbia and Laura Holt of Columbia; one nephew: Walter Holt, Jr., of Columbia; 19 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother: Howard Holt, Sr., and by one nephew: Howard Holt, Jr., and one niece: Minnie Katherine Holt.
