William Whitthorne Hickman

July 19, 1934 — January 9, 2019

William Whitthorne Hickman, 84, retired heavy equipment operator and longtime resident of Culleoka, Tennessee died on January 9, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Glen Alexander officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. There will be a private burial at a later date.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Smiser M. Hickman and Arlie Mae Thurman Hickman. He was a member of Campbell Station Church of Christ.
Survivors include his daughter; Eyvonne (Mike) Morris, son; William D. Hickman; stepdaughter; Patty Holcomb, sister; Evelyn Hickman Morrow, nephew Tim (Cindy) Hickman, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wilburn M. Hickman, sister; Alatha Hickman McCollum, brother; James O. Hickman, his first wife; Evelyn Cannady Hickman and second wife; Dimple Stewart Hickman, step daughters; Lynn Crumley and Deborah Street.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ben Gardner with Hospice Compassus and a special thankyou to nurse; Rita Pace and the caring nurses and staff of Maury Regional Medical Center.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Paul Fleser of Franklin, Tennessee and Dr. Thomas Farmer of Columbia with a special thank you to nurse Donna.
