William Edward Hull, Jr.

September 14, 1960 — October 25, 2004

Mr. William Edward ?Bill? Hull, Jr., 44, a resident of Highland Avenue in Columbia, died Monday, October 25, 2004 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services for Mr. Hull will be conducted Friday October 29, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Peter?s Episcopal Church with Reverend Thomas S. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the St. John?s Episcopal Churchyard. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Columbia and one hour prior to the service in the church Parrish Hall.

The Bedford County native was the son of William E. Jean Marie Hull, Sr. of Culleoka, TN and Nancy Ledford Hull of Mt. Pleasant, TN. Mr. Hull was a 1978 graduate of Columbia Central High School. He was a chemical operator for Cytec Industries in Mt. Pleasant and a former employee of Spontex and Maury Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Maury County Gun Club and an avid sportsman, hunter and UT Fan. He was a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, William McAlister ?Mac" Hull of Mt. Pleasant; God-parents, Judge and Mrs. Robert Jones of Columbia; aunt and uncle, Ken and Sandra Hull of Madison, TN; cousins, Chris Hull and Jeff Hull both of Chattanooga, TN and Laura Neal of Cincinnati, Ohio

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Jarvis Hull who died in 2002.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Shackelford, Matt McAlister, Phillip McAlister, Marvin Bailey, Lonnie Hicks and Jimmy Lott.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Friendship Houses, Chris Hull, Jeff Hull, Sean Neal and employees of Cytec Industries.

Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
