William E. Nolen, Jr.

Mr. William E. Nolen, Jr., age 74, a resident of Southport Road in Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at NHC Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Nolen will be conducted, Tuesday, August 7, at 3:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend William Owens officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late William E. Nolen, Sr. and Zula Nance Nolen and the husband of Ethyl Bolton Nolen. Mr. Nolen retired from the Mt. Pleasant Power System. He was member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Deb Jerry Smith of Summertown, TN, Dena David Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Donna Ricky Len Boshers , Deloris LeonDaniel, Daphne Bradley Woodard all of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Jimmy Susie Hyatt of Summertown, TN and John Shannon Nolen of Mt. Pleasant, TN; five sisters: Icy Hershell Bolton and Ollie Mae Odom both of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Wilma M.W. Edwards of Lewisburg, TN, Betty Ann Wayne Thomas of Giles County, TN, Jeannie Ronnie Fuller of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one brother: Jim Ruth Nolen of Mt. Pleasant, TN; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother: Ernest Nance.
Pallbearers will be Kris Smith, David Carl Smith, Jereomy Boshers, Chad Busby, Dewayne Grooms, Will Woodard, Lee Bolton and Jay Bolton.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, employees of NHC Columbia and The Staff of Family Medical Group.
