William Charles Kelley, Sr.

Mr. William Charles Kelley, Sr., age 81, a resident of Columbia and longtime resident of Avon, New York, passed away on October 11, at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Oct. 17, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Born on June 8, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Sante and Nattie Mae Coward Kelley. He was the husband of Laura Whipple Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a retired set up man for General Motors and was a master tailor. He served our country with the United States Navy and was a member of the Caledonia Church of God.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son: William Charles Kelley, Jr. and daughter in law, Patricia Kelley of Columbia and daughter, Donna Williams of Rochester, NY; grandchildren: Shante Elizabeth Kelley, William Charles Kelley, III and Charles Everett Kelley of Columbia and Akel Lindsey of Rochester, NY; two sisters: Ola Mae Franklin and Gladys Sullivan of Rochester, NY; one brother: Wilbert Huffman of Montgomery, AL; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons: Gregory Kelley and Randy Kelley.
Mr. Kelley's pallbearers will be family members.
