William "Billy" Horner III, 53, a resident of Ball Hollow Road in Pulaski, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Born September 3, 1957 in Burlington, NC, son of William and Marjorie Smith Horner. He worked for Highway Construction as a heavy equipment operator in La Vergne, TN. He and his father liked working in the Bahamas, where they did construction. Billy did farming and he knew his cows and he was affiliated with the Deerfield Flee Market. His parents said he never met a stranger and everybody loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by special friends: Paul and Ellen Ludwig of Columbia, David and Connie Broswell of Canada; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service for Billy will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 8, 2001 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating.
