William "Billy" Brooks, Jr.

Mr. William ?Billy? Brooks, Jr., 45, a resident of Mockingbird Drive in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Brooks will be conducted Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend J.C. Christian officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of late William L. and Doris Boshers Brooks, Sr. and husband of Kimberly Crews Brooks. He previously worked as a supervisor for Premier in Spring Hill and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Ashley Michelle Brooks of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Sharon Beech Kennedy of Columbia; a brother, Donnie Beech of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joe D. and Mary Catherine Brooks and maternal grandparents, Roy and Gracie Mae Boshers.
Pallbearers will be Tim Smith, Bobby Floyd, Bob Wren, Richard Kennedy, Carl Brooks, John Prinicinski, Eddie Beech and Brian Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Emilio Rodriguez, Dr. Charles Ball, John Allen and the Columbia Oncology Group.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1212, Columbia, TN 38402
