William A. Spicer, Jr.

Mr. William A. Spicer, Jr., 82, a resident of Wiltshire Court in Thompson Station, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin.

No services are scheduled at present. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Scotts Hill, TN, he was the son of the late William A. and Clara Toy Spicer, Sr. and husband of the late Nora Laverne Clark Spicer. He was a retired sales engineer from Jackson Buff Corporation in Conover, NC, and a Sergeant First Class in the US Army in WWII.

He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Rodgers of Gainesboro; three sons, Donald Spicer of Fairview, Scott Spicer of Columbia and William A. Spicer, III of Memphis; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Dollahite of Kalamazoo, MI and Aladeane Smith of Texas.
