Mr. Willard ?Leon? Hunt, Jr., age 64, a resident of Thomas Avenue in Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, December 19 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Hunt will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Eddie Rogers officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 ?6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The native of Shreveport, LA, Mr. Hunt was the son of the late Willard Hunt, Sr., and Gladys Clark Hunt. He was the husband of Judy Moore Hunt of Columbia. He was self employed as a carpenter prior to becoming disabled. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Leanne Schwem of Lewisville, TX; one step-daughter: Felice Ryan Pace of Columbia; one brother: Allen Glenda Hunt of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren: A.J. ?Adam? Schwem of Lewisville, TX, Madison Schwem of Lewisville, TX, Sierra Jacoby of Columbia and Trenton Pace, also of Columbia; one nephew: Tommy Allen Hunt of LA; a sister-in-law: Linda Maynard Lewis of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by several uncles and aunts in LA and FL and several nieces and nephews in Columbia. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by one daughter: Margaret Hunt.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
