Wilburn Davidson, age 75 of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 19, 1937 to the late George Washington Davidson and the late Vernell Hastings Davidson in Lawrence County. On June 23, 1955 he married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Poole Davidson, until her passing on December 28, 2002. Mr. Davidson was the owner operator for Maury Plumbing Company and a member of the Maury County Hunters Association.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Noon in the Chapel of the Mt. Pleasant Williams Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service, burial will follow at Centerpoint Cemetery.
Mr. Davidson is survived by his daughter: Juanita Davidson of Columbia, brothers: Elven Inez Davidson, James Marie Davidson, Virginia Malcom Jones, Elan Opal Lee Vandford, Bethy Louis Bassham all of Columbia and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley and his son, Jerry Davidson.
