W.H. Workman

W. H. ?Mr. Magoo? Workman, 69, a resident of West Sheepneck Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Workman will be conducted Friday, January 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Billy Dean Felkner and Brother David Kersey. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late William Frank and Florine Davis Workman and widower of Nancy Elizabeth Odom Workman. He was a retired truck driver for McCanless Trucking, he loved his family and his CB handle was ?Mr. Magoo?. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Ensign Mosley of Leoma, Amy Marie Workman and Jennifer Mark Laws, both of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Eugene Marcia Workman of Dade City, FL; three sisters, Vicky Tim Sutherland of Irvin, TX, Faye Wallace Chapman of Mt. Pleasant and Jody Crews of Lewisville, TX; three brothers, Billy Wayne Bobbie Workman, R.L. Pauline Workman and Bobby Gene Janie Workman, all of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Melissa Workman of Orlando, FL, Adam Mark Laws of Mt. Pleasant, Taylor Jay Mosley and Ryan O?Neal Mosley, both of Leoma; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Workman; two brothers, Ollie Houston Workman and Ollie Paul Workman.

Pallbearers will be Cody Howell, Randy Workman, Ronald ?Pigg? Workman, Sammy McCanless, Steven McCanless, Terry Cook, Allen Massey, Barry Boshers, Carl Workman and Jack Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen McCanless and retired drivers of McCanless Trucking, staff of NHC Lawrenceburg, late Dr. Heather Bazzell, Dr. Linda Monroe, Dr. Dan Skarzinski, Dr. Carey Pulliam and Sally Barr, Vicky Lesnanski, Ella Lanius and all the brothers and sisters of the Odom family.
