Wallace Lewis Woody was born on May 17, 1929 in Columbia, TN to his parents Benjamin Woody and Fannie McMeen. Wallace Woody was a veteran of the Air Force and worked as a lineman and cable splicer for Bellsouth for over 30 years. He was a member of First Family Baptist Church in Columbia.

Mr. Woody leaves behind his son, Larry Lisa Woody of Columbia; Son, David Sheila Woody of Culleoka; Granddaughter, Maeghan Josh Wall of Columbia; Granddaughter, Sarah Michael Reese of Pulaski; Grandson, Carson Woody of Culleoka; Grandson, James Woody of Columbia; Step Grandson, Ted Martha Barnes; Step Granddaughter, Kim Tim Mcgehee; and 7 great grand children, Lilly, Brewer, and Benton Wall, Lane and Jessica Barnes, Hannah and Katie Beth Mcgehee.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Jerry Woody, BJ Woody, Gladys Bragg and Frances Baker; and Step Daughter Gail Gaskill

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Lone Oak Cemetary in Lewisburg, TN. Services provided by Williams Funeral Home and Crematory.

Pallbearers for the service include Larry Woody, David Woody, James Woody, Carson Woody, Josh Wall, and Michael Reese.
