Vollie W. Randolph

Mr. Vollie Randolph, age 83, a resident of Crofton Park Court in Columbia, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Randolph will be conducted, Thursday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Carl Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Iuka Mississippi native was the son of the late E.V. and Jennie Glasco Randolph and the widower of Hilda Marie Osborn Randolph. He was a retired truck driver for Amoco Oil and very active in the Grace Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Richard B. Zielinski of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Craig Michelle Zielinski of Louisville, KY and Amanda Kirk Underwood of Columbia; great-granddaughters, Emma Zielinski of Louisville, KY and Madelyn Underwood of Columbia, TN. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Lameroux and Maxine Gourtney; four brothers, Owen, Otis, Thurman and Cecil Randolph..
Pallbearers will be Richard Zielinski, Craig Zielinski, Kirk Underwood, Ralph Lacy, Ernest Caldwell and Frank Hetrick.
Honorary pallbearers Dr. Iverson, Dr. Freels, Dr. Bloomhart, Dr. Quinn, the doctors and nurses in CCU at Maury Regional Hospital, nurses on the second floor step down unit, the church family of Grace Missionary Baptist Church and a very very special friend, Faye Hartsfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, One Vantage Way, Suite C-250, Nashville, TN 37228 or the Alzheimer?s Associaiton, 4004 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 219B, Nashville, TN 37215.
