Vivien Gaye Duberry Adcock

Vivien Gaye Duberry Adcock was born August 7, 1961 in Maury County, the daughter of the late William Carter Duberry, Jr., and Mary Juanita Gibson McClain. Vivien was the wife of Herbert Adcock of the Rockdale Community.

Vivien was a 1979 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and owner of Vivien's Hair Care in the Rockdale Community. Most important to Vivien was time spent with her family and friends. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Mary James Garner of Columbia and Samuel Hardin Adcock of Santa Fe; one grandson, Xander Garner of Columbia; three brothers, Ricky Kim Duberry of Hohenwald, William Carter Duberry III and Wendell Todd Duberry, both of Rockdale; step-father, Daniel McClain and several nieces and nephews.

Vivien went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 11, in Columbia, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Ricky Glass officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at the home of Ann and Alan Garner, 1174 Weaver Farm Lane, Spring Hill, TN, 931-486-0468.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Duberry, Brian Lovett, Stanley Smith, Shea Duberry, Scott Lovett and James Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy McKennon and William Carter Duberry, III.
