Vivian Sue Surles Warren, age 88, passed away Wednesday, August 4th, 2021, in her home surrounded by family in Columbia, Tennessee.
Vivian was born to the late Lee Roy and Della Davis Surles on November 23rd, 1932 in Giles County Tennessee.
From a young age, Vivian enjoyed working outside the home. She loved meeting new and different people and helping them with anything they may need. She worked hard even until the age of 80. Vivian worked at Robyn’s Cards and Gifts, Parks Belk, and JCPenney, and has endless stories of her encounters and friends she’s made along the way. At one point her husband, Roger, was working as a Tour Bus Driver. He was on the road so much she finally decided to hop in along with him and became a Tour Guide herself and they both traveled the USA sharing and showing their knowledge with the world. When she wasn’t working, you could sometimes find her with a paintbrush in hand ready to paint anything that wasn’t moving. Vivian has been a lifelong member of the Church of Christ community in Columbia, Tennessee. She will be so greatly missed.
A graveside service for Mrs. Vivian will be held Saturday, August 7th at 11:00 AM, where she will be laid to rest at Giles Memory Gardens.
