Vivian Copeland of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away at Maury Regional Medical Center on February 10, 2019 at the age of seventy.
Vivian was born on February 29, 1948 to Charley Clark Sanders and Vivian Scott Sanders. She had a way with people and never forgot anyone she met, especially her customers at First Farmers where she worked for many years. She enjoyed following UT sports on TV. She would watch Andy Griffith and Everybody Loves Raymond every time it was on. She loved being “Granny Viv” to her grandchildren more than anything.
She is survived by son Phillip Wayne (Scarlett) Copeland; daughter Sharon Lynn Copeland; daughter Marsha (Zach) Townsend; grandchildren Charley Copeland, Taylor Copeland, Bailey Allen, Berkley Allan and Jake Townsend; siblings Nancy Hayes, Charles (Ella) Sanders, Sara (Jimmy) Hines; seven nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Charley & Vivian Sanders and a nephew David Sanders.
Services will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday.
Pallbearers: Chuck Drane, Ralph Hayes, John Sanders, Daniel Sanders, Jimmy Hines and Zack Townsend.
Honorary Pallbearers: Mary Beth Wade, Ruth Wells, coworkers at First Farmers Merchants Bank and Susan Copeland.
