Vivian Bates Searson

Mrs. Vivian C. Bates Searson, 66, a resident of North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, October 04, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Searson will be conducted, Tuesday October 07, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Brother Milton Hicks and Brother Les Albritton officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Bill and Lou Annie McNeal Bates. She was the widow of the late Eugene Searson, Jr. who passed away June 4, 1997. She was a private sitter and a sitter at the Kiddie Cottage in Mt. Pleasant known as Miss Vivian. She attended Mt. Pleasant Elementary School and Hay Long High School. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother.She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters; Connie Douglas McClain of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Tammy Ray Adamson and Cindy Kenneth Morton both of Columbia, TN; Grandchildren, Kellie Tim Davis, Michael Tiffany Morton, Amanda Joey Kincaid, Andrew Childress, Rayann Adamson, Payton Searson McClain; eight great-grandchildren ; two sisters, Betty Holder of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Doris Marvin Escue of Columbia, TN; one brother, Billy James Bates of Orlando Florida; a special caregiver and loving niece Deborah Holder of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a special cousin, Maxine Roy of Mt. Pleasant, TN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers will be Douglas McClain, Michael Morton, Drew Childress, Marvin Escue, Terry Holder, Timmy Davis, Ray Adamson, and Woodrow Wilson, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Grant Barr, Dr. Andrew Sisk, Dr. Marek Kacki, Dr. James Marshall, Dr. Rodney Poling, and Dr. Michael Zolkiewicz.
