Mr. Virl Lee Marcum, 72, a resident of Floral City, Florida, died Monday, January 9, 2006 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
No services are scheduled at present. Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
The McKee, Kentucky native was the son of the late, Estel and Della Marcum and the husband of Helen Bradburn Marcum of Floral City, Florida. Mr. Marcum was a retired mechanic from Great Southern Equipment.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Joanna Moore of IN, Peggy Art Green of Lawrenceburg, TN, Tommy Lee Kimberley Marcum of Colorado, Lisa Gayle Ben Ruiz of Florida, Jeffery Wayne Michelle Marcum of Colorado and Marcia Lynn Strawbridge of Florida; sisters and brothers, Vernice Marcum and Everrett Marcum both of Connersville, IN, Cleo Marcum of Brownsville, IN and Faye Brasfield of Centerville, IN; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Marcum and Dallas McKinney; two sisters, Phyllis Skeens and Trevia Vickers.
