Virginia Katherine Waldrep, age 73 of Columbia, died Saturday in Maury Regional Medical Center.
Celebration services for Mrs. Waldrep will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Maury Hills Church in Columbia, officiated by Bro. Russ Adcox.
Born on December 9, 1935 in Maury County, TN, Mrs. Waldrep was the daughter of the late Dewey and Alta Howell Tomlinson. She married James Donald Waldrep on Nov 7, 1955. To this union was born two children: Lisa and Michael. She was a lifelong legal secretary and member of the Maury Hills Church.
In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her son: Michael Waldrep of Columbia; a brother: William Tomlinson of Murfreesboro; and 3 grandsons: Benji Russell, Brandon Russell, and Daniel Russell. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Lisa Waldrep Russell in 1999 and siblings: Luci Delaney, Frances Black, Mildred Adams, Joe Tomlinson, and Paul Tomlinson.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Maury Hills Church Building Fund, 101 Unity Lane, Columbia, TN 38401.
