Violet Raine Byrd, a vibrant and compassionate soul, left this world too soon on June 29, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 22. Born on November 13, 2000, in Nashville, TN, she brought joy and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her memory will forever be cherished.
Violet, also lovingly known as Rainey, was a remarkable young woman with a tender and giving nature. Her love for animals was evident in her unwavering compassion. Whenever a stray animal crossed her path, she would provide them with a loving home without hesitation. She understood the importance of kindness and displayed it in her actions every day.
Hard work was an integral part of Violet's character. She was unafraid to roll up her sleeves and tackle any challenge that came her way. When her grandfather gifted her an old car, she took it upon herself to restore it to its former glory. She also earned her welding certificate at Tennessee Tech University. With a combination of research, determination, and a little elbow grease, she transformed anything into a testament of her resilience and resourcefulness.
Violet's altruistic nature extended beyond animals and mechanical projects. She had a natural inclination to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger, Violet never hesitated to offer her assistance. Her genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives was truly inspiring.
In her leisure time, Violet found solace in painting and poetry. These creative outlets allowed her to express herself with beauty and grace. Through her artwork and verses, she shared her unique perspective on life and touched the hearts of those around her.
Violet's spiritual journey led her to Simpkins Chapel, where she found solace and salvation. Her faith in God gave her strength, comfort, and guidance throughout her life. Violet's commitment to her beliefs brought her closer to her family, friends, and community.
Those left to cherish her memory is her loving parents, Josh Byrd and Jennifer Valentine, and her treasured little brother, Grey, as well as several extended family members and a world of friends. Violet's presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and love that will forever remain in their hearts.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, where friends and loved ones can pay their respects. Following the visitation, a memorial service will commence at 4:00 PM, providing an opportunity to celebrate Violet's life and share fond memories.
Violet Raine Byrd was a beacon of light, love, and selflessness. Her departure from this world leaves an indelible void, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her impact on the world will forever be remembered and cherished.
