Mr. Villie V. Cates, age 51, former resident of West 11th Street, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2006, at NHC Columbia.
No services are scheduled at this time. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Maury County native was the son of Mrs. Maudie Hickman Cates of Columbia and the late Velton Cates. He was a self employed laborer.
In addition his mother, he is survived by three sisters: Linda Cates and Shelia Hutton, both of Columbia and Robbie Jackson of Mt. Pleasant; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: David and Terry Cates and Jimmy Davis and one sister: Mary Cates.
