Mrs. Vicky Lynn Massie Love, 42 , died Friday, January 7, 2005 at her home on Oak Lane in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Love will be conducted Monday, January 10, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points and Reverend Telford Tharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Marshall County native was the daughter of William Massie of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Virginia Mae Tosh Massie of Columbia, Tennessee. She was the wife of David O. Love. Mrs. Love was former assistant manager of family Dollar Store in Northway Shopping Center and former employee of Roses Department Store. She collected angels and figurines and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Brandy Love and Bianca Love both of Columbia, TN; two step-daughters, Tina Massie of Columbia, TN and Knikki Tim Jarreld of Nashville, TN; step-grandchildren, Lance Jarreld and Paige Jarreld both of Nashville, TN, Leslie Massie and Kelton Massie both of Columbia, TN; adopted daughter, Sasha Smallwood of Pulaski, TN; two nephews, Jerry Gray, Jr. and William Tommy Gray both of Culleoka, TN; three sisters, Connie Eddie Prince of Columbia, TN, Tracy Gray of MI and Tina Massie of Mt. Pleasant, TN; two brothers, Timmy Jennifer Massie of Columbia, TN and Michael Paula Massie of Santa Fe, TN.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Lee, Jerry Gray, Jr., William Tommy Gray, Victor Grant Love, Brent Harvey and Chris Marrow.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Family Dollar Stores, employees of Mid-State Roofing, members of First United Pentecostal Church, Bob Kirk, Larry Finwick, Ricky Head, Rick and Hope Carroll, Dr. C. Houston Jameson, III and Dr. John Worthman; special friends, Shannon Love, Heaven Massie, Heather Massie, Chasidty Smith, Melissa Sullivan, Benji James, and Mark and Nancy Warren.
