Mrs. Vickie L. Parrish Brubaker, age 54, a resident of Rogers, AR, passed away Saturday, February 6, at her residence.
Funeral services for Vickie will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 Am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Chris Morrison and Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Vickie was born January 15, 1956 in Columbia, TN, the daughter of Charles and Sue Watson Parrish of Columbia. She was the wife of Philip Brubaker of Rogers, AR. Vickie dedicated her life to lovingly caring for others as an LPN for 26 years. She had a love for interior decorating, camping, animals and had a gift for floral arranging.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her two sons: Jonathan Shanna Barnes of Ethridge and Nathaniel Melissa Barnes of Rogers, AR; grandson: Myles Slater of Ethridge; sisters: Sandy Parrish and Mrs. Paula Wayne Vandiver, both of Columbia and Mrs. Becky Chris Morrison of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews and a great niece. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Gunner Wayne Barnes.
Pallbearers will be Jason Alexander, Justin Alexander, Clint Owens, Rev. Chris Morrison, James Edwards and Wayne Vandiver. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Points and the staff of Williams Funeral Home, Dr. Charles Ball and Adam Lowrey.
