Troyce A. Anderson, age 41, a resident of Presidio Drive in Abilene, TX, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 in Texas.
Services for Troyce will be conducted Friday, July 25 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Danny Douglas and Bro. Vernon Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Charles and Ellen Brooks Anderson of Mt. Pleasant. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Gulf War and business manager for Dyess/Goodfellow Army-Air Force Exchange Services. He was a member of Beech Hill Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his aunts and uncles: Vernon Joan Brooks, J.D. April Brooks, Martha Barker, Beulah Don Marshall, all of Mt. Pleasant, Gerald "Pete" Louise Brooks of Lobelville, Sue Voss of Williamsport, Jeraldine Don Hiner and Marie Billy Filson, both of Columbia, and Lloyd Kay Baxter of Santa Fe; special friends: David Wix and Joel McPherson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John E. and Mary K. Anderson, Joe D. and Mary C. Brooks; uncles and aunt: Bill Brooks, James C. Anderson, Samuel Anderson and Alma Jo Grimmitt.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Brooks, Chris Brooks, Jeff Brooks, Joe Brooks, Barry Brooks, Kerry Crocker and Waverly Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be David Wix, Joel McPherson, Sal Salisar, Johnnie Stonecipher, Don "Stoney" Stonecipher, Ronnie Smithson, Larry Fox, Bob Harris, Donald Stonecipher, and co-workers of Dyess Air Force Base and Goodfellow Air Force Base.
