Tracy Lynn Staggs

Tracy Lynn Staggs, age 50, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, at her residence.

Tracy was born April 29, 1968, in Columbia, the daughter of the late Billy Staggs and Carolyn J. Kelley Staggs. Tracy was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She loved life to the fullest and always had a smile and the biggest heart. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her favorite hobbies were boating, camping, collecting pictures and skulls. She passed away on her favorite holiday.

Tracy was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the love of her life, Bobby Johnson of Columbia; her daughter, Ashley Hammox of Columbia; one brother, Jason (Deanna) Staggs of Columbia; two granddaughters, Azieanna Jo’Lyn Brown and Ra’Asia Michelle Brown; one aunt, Shannon Kelley and two uncles, Ricky Kelley and David (Shelia) Staggs along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her best friend and caregiver, Shelly Adkins; longtime friends, Kitty (Roger) Reese, Jeanie Wilson and Richard Crawford as well as Jerry Wayne Hammox, father of Ashley Hammox.

Funeral services for Tracy will be conducted Saturday, November 3, at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Christine Penner officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service.
