Tonya "Margo" Renee York

Tonya “Margo” Renee York, age 42, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Tonya was born on May 14, 1972 to the late Bryant M. Raines and the late Darlene Rumney Raines. Tonya worked for several years as the manager at Legends Steakhouse. She married Alvin Dewayne York and gained a son Alvin Alexander York. Tonya was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. She had a very giving spirit. Tonya had many hobbies. She loved cooking large elaborate cuisine for loved ones, painting, crafts, and writing stories/journaling. At the end of her life, Tonya added photography to her many talents.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.

Tonya is survived by her husband of nine years, Alvin Dewayne York of Columbia; her son by marriage Alvin (Megan) Alexander York of Columbia; sisters Tina (Steve) Morris and Kim Edenson; brothers Bryant M. Raines Jr., Justin Jarrell, and Daniel Dixon; grandson William York; nieces and nephews Jeremiah Sanford, Christina Sadler, Jessica Newcomb, Benjamin Flippo, Amber Ramsey, Elijah Edenson; and several great nieces and nephews.
