Tony Vincent Burns

Tony Vincent Burns was born April 6, 1969 in Nashville, TN, the son of Raymond Paul Burns, Sr., and the late Rethia Fay Ward Reinhold. Tony was the husband of Dana Burns of Shelbyville. He had worked in the construction industry as a painter and electrician. Tony was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors in addition to Dana include his father, Raymond of Lewisburg; children, Justin Burns of Theta, Tabatha Burns of Summertown, Megan Burns of Columbia, Summer Ervin of Columbia and Dillon Ervin of Columbia; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, Phillip Burns and Paul Burns, Jr., both of Chapel Hill; one sister, Jennette Miller of Shelbyville along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Tony was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Paul Burns.

Tony passed away on Monday, December 12, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident;

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Dwight Liles officiating. Burial will follow in Adkison Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Keith Miller, Jonathan Ray Miller, Nathan Paul Miller, Cory Burns, Kenneth Ward, Shane Wiseman and Matthew Smith.
