Tony Ray Harris

Tony Ray Harris was born March 21, 1975 in Thompson Station, the son of the late Fred Steven Harris and Wanda Sue Hargrove Eastep. Tony was employed as a machinist with Numatics Actuator. He loved everything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and boating. Like a lot of folks from Tennessee, Tony followed Peyton Manning and his career with the Indianapolis Colts, being one of their biggest fans.

Tony passed away on Tuesday, July 10, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Survivors include his children, Jacob Harris, Calob Harris and Amber Gevedon, all of Lewisburg; two sisters, Tracy Riddle Turner of Spring Hill and Rebecca Harris Michael Warwick of Columbia; two nephews, Dakota Warwick and Stephen Warwick; one niece, Acelyn Turner; his fiancée, Kimberly Hooper and her children, Alyssa and Josh Hooper along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Tony will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Sister Inez Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Hollow Cemetery in the Burwood Community of Williamson County.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday and Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

It is the wishes of Tony's family that anyone attending his services feel free to wear any Indianapolis Colts attire they may have.

Pallbearers will be Andi Grant, Bruce King, Eric Hargrove, Derrick Hargrove, Steven Hargrove, Robert Bachenbach, Josh Hooper and Bo Hardin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Harris, Calob Harris, Dakota Warwick, Kyle Dangler, "Papaw" Dangler, Roger Hargrove and Chartez "Tez" Lane.
