Tony Ray Lindsey, age 55, a resident of Columbia, TN passed away on December 28, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Tony was born on March 1, 1960 to the late Charles and Ida Bell Lindsey in Chicago, IL. Tony sticking to his roots, had deep love for his home city of Chicago, and possibly an even greater love for the deep dish Chicago style pizza. He originally moved to Columbia from Elmhurst, IL., where he had graduated from York Community High School. He had been involved in drama, chorus and drama stage crew there. He was a gifted artist in his own way. He collected BattleTech figurines and painted them himself winning many awards for his own designs. Tony loved reading and collecting comic books. He loved his sister’s Chihuahua “Sissy” and she loved him just as much. Tony worked for the Delphi/GM production on the line.
Tony is survived by his two sisters: Bonnie Lindsey and Anna Chick both of Columbia, TN; his uncle: Alan Lindsey of Troy MI; his aunt: Joyce Bryant of Oak Park, IL and several cousins from all over the United States.
The family would like to make special mention to Fresenius Medical Center, NHC Home health especially his nurse Brenda Coffey and his physical therapist Vince.
