Mr. Anthony S. ?Tony? Beard, 33, a resident of Terrapin Branch Road near Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Beard will be conducted Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Lynnwood Cemetery at Lynnville. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Davidson County native was the son of Rollie Debby Beard of Franklin and Irene Clark Gary Starr of Summertown. He was the husband of Tammy Tiller Beard of Mt. Pleasant. He was a mechanic for Heavy?s Fastlane and attended the Riverview Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Jordan Beard and Joshua Beard both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a sister, Tara Matt Rhea of Lyles, TN; two brothers, William Ray Mary Beard of Tullahoma, TN and Rollie Christy Beard, III of Guntersville, AL; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Howell, Jr. of Fairview, TN and Mary Clark of Culleoka, TN; several nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Clark, Ray Beard, Rollie Beard, III, Kevin Pickard, Kevin Heithcock, Roy Clark, Bruce Tiller, Jr., and James ?Heavy? Lanius. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Heavy?s Fastlane.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Middle Tennessee region 209 23rd Avenue, North, Nashville, Tennessee 37203.
