Tommy Lee Thomason, age 49, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at his home in Lynnville, Tennessee.
Tommy was born in Columbia, South Carolina, December 28, 1965 to Russell Lee and Margaret Joelean Thomason. Tommy was a loving and caring person. It is evident in his everyday life. He had a goal of becoming a nurse. He achieved that goal and served as an LPN caring for his patients over the last 10 years. He loved listening to music and watching movies. You could often find him tending and caring for his garden. He was an avid University of Tennessee Vols football and basketball fan. Most of all he loved his family, always staying close to them. Tommy will be dearly missed by his family, and will carry his memory and love with them always.
Tommy is survived by: his Life-Partner: Walter E. Long of Lynnville, TN; son: Christopher Lee Michael Thomason of Michigan; parents: Russell Lee and Margaret Thomason of Lynnville, TN; sisters: Tammy (Larry) Duncan and Bonnie (Tim) Bridgers of Lynnville, TN; nephews: Brandon Edwards of Smyrna, TN, Peyton Duncan and Bryce Bridgers of Lynnville, TN; niece: Danica Bridgers of Lynnville, TN; step-daughter: Kelli Long of Chattanooga; and his friend Mickey.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Monday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. also at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will follow at Santa Fe Cemetery in Santa Fe, TN. Bob Vassar will be officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Tennessee Army National Guard.
Nephews and Cousins will serve as Pallbearers.
