Mr. Tommy Love Ralston, age 66, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee passed away at his residence on August 13, 2014.
Tommy was born on April 27, 1948 to the late William B. and Esther Edwards Ralston in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Haylong High School in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. He served our nation as a member of the the Naval Reserves. He worked as a supervisor at Calsonic Kansei Corp. (formerly known as Kantus of Lewisburg) for twenty years prior to his retirement.
Tommy is survived by his sister: Laticia (William “Buddy”) Grooms of Mt. Pleasant; former wife: Debbie (William) Ralston Parrish; step-daughters: Misty Farrar and Christy Prier; nephew: Burgess (JoEllen) Grooms; great-nephews: Chance Grooms, Dylan Grooms and Daniel (Maegan) Grooms; and nieces: Esther Kimberly Grooms; and great-niece: Heather Grooms.
Funeral services for Mr. Ralston will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
Alfred Edwards, Thomas Neeley Edwards, Roy Cochran, Burgess Grooms, Daniel Grooms and Eric Hughes will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be former employees of Kantus of Lewisburg, Jimmy Holtsford, Tommy Davis, Tommy Colvert and his Classmates of Haylong High School.
