Tommy Eugene Potts

November 10, 1941 — February 16, 2003

Mr. Tommy Eugene Potts, 62, a resident of Old Natchez Trace Primm Springs, Tn., died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at General Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services for Mr. Potts will be conducted Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Potts Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Claude Eugene and Lola Mae Kelley Potts and husband of the late Lucille Eva Stanfill Potts. He was a self-employed logger and of the Nazarene faith.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Justine James Wilson of Lynnville and Teresa Tonette Bobby Wright of Nunnley; three sons, Jeffery Tommy Deanna Potts, Russell Troy Potts and Redrick Doyle Potts, all of Primm Springs: four sisters, Bettie Mae Potts of Primm Springs, Janice Burgett of Columbia, Linda Walls and Margie Lancaster, both of Santa Fe; a brothers, Billy Potts of Primm Springs; eleven grandchildren, Ashley Potts of Ky., Jacqueline Potts of Columbia, Kayla Wilson and Mathew Wilson, both of Lynnville, Josh Anglin, Tabaitha Russell and Michael Russell, all of Primm Springs, Bobby Wayne Wright, Stephanie Lynn Wright, Chris England and Dustin Potts, all of Nunnley. He was preceded in death by four brothers, J.B., Jerry, Cecil and Donald Potts.

Active pallbearers will be Billy, Tracy and Steve Potts, Maylin Hutchinson, Freddie Dean Lancaster and Ronnie Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Anglin, Mathew Wilson and Jr. Wright.
