Tom "Tom Tom" Thompson, age 52, a resident of Dial Hollow Road in Hohenwald, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Graveside inurnment will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rick Points officiating.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
The Alexandria, LA, native was born October 29, 1957, the son of the late Rap Ropozo and Jane Moore Ropozo. He was the husband of Melinda Lee Arnett Thompson. Tom was a self employed handyman and heavy equipment operator.
Survivors in addition to Melinda, his wife include two sons: Tommy Thompson of Summertown and Reed Dudley of Ethridge; step-children: Brandy Cole of Clinton, MI, Tyler Cole of MI and Corey Whitaker of Hohenwald; three brothers: Tim Thompson and Robin Ropozo, both of Hohenwald and Randy Ropozo of Miami, FL and one sister: Beth Ann Pierce of Homestead, FL; grandchildren: Dylan Dudley, Delanie Dudley, Shelby Thompson and Parker Thompson.
