Todd Isaac Barton, age 34 of Columbia, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Todd was born on May 11, 1979 to Derek Barton and Christine ‘Myhan’ Guin. On July 25, 2013, he married the love of his life, Jessica ‘Ary’ Barton. He was employed at Voith Industrial Services where he worked in the paint shop. He also owned Barton’s Automotive. Todd was a member at Summertown Baptist Church.
The family welcomes friends for gathering on Sunday, May 4, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, at 12:00 noon with a one hour visitation prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Polk Memorial Gardens.
Survivors for Todd include: his wife, Jessica Ary Barton; four children: Kiara “Punkin” Barton, Christopher “B” Neal, Dae’Vian “Dae Dae” Neal, and Channus “Chicken” Neal; father, Derek (Janice) Barton of Mt. Pleasant, TN; mother, Christine (Jere) Guin of Fayetteville, AR; siblings: James (Carol) Barton of Arkadelphia, AR, Duncan Barton of Emporia, VA, Nan (Landon) Carter of Lawrenceburg, TN, David Stotts of Harrison, AR, and Sydney Jones of Hot Springs, AR; mother-in-law, Sue (Brad) Goodapple of Bartonville, IL; father-in-law, Marty (Darlene) Ary of Columbia, TN; in-law-siblings: Josh Ary of West Peoria, IL, Jeremy (Jennifer) Goodapple of Mapleton, IL, and Bobbie (De’Andre) Terrell of Peoria, IL; grandmother, Patricia Myhan of Summertown, TN; Grandfather, James Hayden Barton of Maryville, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him. Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Myhan and Audrey Barton; and his step-father, David Higgins.
Todd is also survived by his grandbaby, CB, Christopher's TWH and CB is expecting another so he would be a great-grandpa. LOL. Proud Papa!
Pallbearers for the service will be: James Barton, Duncan Barton, Christopher “B” Neal, Dae’Vian “Dae Dae” Neal, Channus “Chicken” Neal, Kevin Barton, Bobby Jo Myhan, and Glen Myhan. Honorary pallbearers include: Cliff Hawkins, Ray Drewett, Derek Barton, Jere Guin, the Employees of Voith Industries, and the current and retired Members of the UAW 1853.
