Tina Renee Washington, age 59, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at her home in Columbia, TN.
She was born June 28, 1955 in Upson County Georgia to the late Royce Abercrombie and Sara Partridge Abercrombie. Tina is survived by her husband Mike Washington and their children Michael Casey Washington and his wife Jenn, Michael David Washington and his soon to be wife Krisie Tiffner. She is also survived by her siblings Marsha Horne, Robin Camp and Roy Abercrombie.
The funeral service is Saturday, July 5th at 3:00 PM eastern time at Line Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Franklin Tredwell officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park .
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Tina's name to New Hope Academy, 1820 Downs Blvd, Franklin, TN 37064. New Hope Academy is a nonprofit school in which she taught at and loved dearly.
McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan, Georgia is handling the funeral arrangements.
