Timothy Joe Gilliam

Timothy Joe "Timmy" Gilliam, age 53, resident of South Cross Bridges Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, September 4 at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Gilliam will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the chapel of the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born January 18, 1957 in Maury County, he was the son of Rachel Scott Gilliam of Mt. Pleasant and the late Joe Gilliam. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He was a farmer, a CB radio enthusiast and loved going to auctions. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister: Melody Marlin Frizzell of Culleoka and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be George R. Gilliam, Frank Martin, Roger Gilliam, Todd Gilliam, Clay Gilliam, Carl Lanius, Brandon Vincent, Hendley Edwards and Lee Scott.
