Tillman E. Bragg

November 5, 1927 — March 6, 2008

Mr. Tillman E. Bragg, Sr., age 80, a resident of Diana Lane in Duck River, TN, left his earthly home on Thursday, March 6, and is now rejoicing in Heaven with the Lord.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Bragg will be conducted Saturday, March 22, at 2:00 PM at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Centerville with Rev. Charles Grant officiating.

Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Dyersburg, TN, he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Mary Ella Stubblefield Bragg and the husband of Winifred Vallad Bragg. He was a retired steel fabricating sheer operator and a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church. Tillman moved from Dyersburg with his wife and 2 small children to Park Lake, MI in 1954 and remained there until 1994 when he moved to Duck River. He will be greatly missed, but we will take solace in knowing that he is no longer suffering in his earthly body, but singing praises to the Lord in his new Heavenly body.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Stanley A. Bragg of Duck River and Tillman E. Elizabeth Bragg, Jr. of Chapel Hill; his daughters: Joydice C. "Dee Dee" James Ward of Duck River and Wenda K. Bustance of Hastings, MI; sisters: Dottie Inman and Hester Al McKee, both of Dyersburg, TN and Irene Norris Rogers of Frazier, TN; grandchildren: Stanley A. Bragg, Jr. of Ionia, MI, Tillman E.
