Tildon Lee Workman Jr. passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 70, surrounded by his beloved wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Born on April 4, 1954, Lee lived a life full of love, service, and adventure. He was a proud U.S. Marine who served from 1971 to 1976 during the Vietnam War as an E5 sergeant. His time in the Marines allowed him to travel widely, with his favorite place being Vieques, Puerto Rico.
Lee married Patricia Ann Gray on May 15, 1980, and they shared 44 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to his daughters and cherished his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather. Lee was deeply loved by his family, which includes his wife Patricia, daughters Candy (Billy) Branton, Toni (Teenie) Floyd, Brandi (Chris Martin) Boshers, Zandi Workman, and Chandi (Eddie) Tosh, as well as his grandchildren Kyra (Austin) Chapman, Sydney Kittell, Melanie Kittell, Ethan (Kennady) Kittell, Ireland Floyd, Kenza (Logan) Fowler, Justin (Rachel) Boshers, Arionna Martin, Tildon Tosh, Cassandra Tosh, Ryan Workman-Johnson, Robert Tosh, and Samantha Garcia. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Elmer, Ronald, Roger, Jimmy (Connie), and Jeromy Workman, and sisters Judy Workman and Sheila Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tildon “Tillie” Mack Workman and Violet Louise Smith Workman, and his brother Danny Ray Workman.
Lee had a great passion for old cars, a love for nostalgia, and never met a stranger. His kindness and warmth earned him friends from all over the world. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
