Tidlem Mcclain

Tidlem McClain was born July 23, 1933 in Lewis County, TN, the son of the late Felix Martin McClain and Minnie Johnson McClain. Tidlem was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a farmer most of his life.

Survivors include one son, Bill Amber McClain of Linden; grandchildren, Brooke McClain of Hohenwald, Nicolas Dillon McClain of Murfreesboro and William Marshall McClain of Perry County; two great-grandchildren, Ayden Dunn and Jaxon Cagle of Hohenwald; three sisters, Elaine McClain Chirtel of Osprey, Fla., Zula McClain of Mt. Pleasant and Pat McClain LeDoux of Woodbury; one brother, Jimmy McClain of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Tidlem was preceded in death by a sister, Carmen McClain Jones and two brothers, Malcolm McClain and Mack McClain.

The McClain family will celebrate Tidlem's life on Saturday, Aril 21, at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. They will visit from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. after which any of Tidlem's friends and family will be asked to share any of their memories of him.
